A well thought
out entry. This game while limited in maps , made up for it in the
implemetation of the AI. As a bit of a flight sims guy I found the Ace
of Aces level very challenging. The flight plysics was a bit weird to
start with but it was not difficult to pickup. |

The most polished entry. I liked
the tutorial and the synthed "assistant". The terrain looked great.
Plane handled well with Joystick. Music was not intense enough, not
enough variety in battle environments ( urban? ) . Enemy plane seemed
faster, Player's plane did not feel the speed. I would suggest adding a
few more missions/environments and some enemies on the ground.

Without a doubt the most
polished entry we've had. The tutorial is a particularly nice touch. My
only criticism is that the gameplay doesn't really convey a sense of
speed :) |

Very well done, with fast
gameplay and excellent presentation. The only significant bug I noticed
is that the enemy doesn't seem to respawn, forcing
you to leave the game and restart it through the menu. |

An arena-style deathmatch that
could very easily be extended into a much larger game. The user
interface needs the same amount of attention that the game got. Must
also have the ability to invert the mouse Y axis! :) |

Another game based on the
Basilisk Engine. Nice twist on theme, the dargon was easy to control
using the joystick, but was harder with mouse/keyboard. I liked the
game's balance of flying fight vs land recovery.
Collision detection on land was not accurate, Graphics could have been
better.
I also had the odd AV on startup, though the patch fixes this. |

Nice effective GUI. Great music
in the main menu. Technically looks very very good. Lots of camera
angles.
Found controls ( Joystick, Keyboard ) very hard to use.
Needs better music/atmosphere during battles.

Again a nice twist on the theme.
Great simple interface that was easy to pick up. I played multi-player
networked game with my son, who enjoyed this game the most. Nice game
play elements ( ie water kills unless you wear certain types of boots
or can walk through buildings with other types of boots ).
Crashed a few times, Local games too restrictive would suggest making
it split screen. Has quite a bit of potential.

Very clean and effective GUI.
Excellent music in main menu which set the mood for in game battles.
Lots of camera angles. It was simple yes fun to play and reminded me of
my mispent youth playing Descent.
Collision let it down a bit as well as some memory leaks. It was also
the hardest game to start a network game with.
With a bit more polish, it has quite a bit of potential.

This was a unique entry in my
opinion, the game was frantic and fun to play, the AI could do with
toning down a bit as it never missed. The graphics we're fun, the
control's were a bit tricky as it was sometime difficult to line up on

Nice cartoon rendering.
Cross-Platform ( I tested it on both Win32 and Linux and it ran fine on
both - other game developer take note ). Controls were easy to pick up.
The enemy was impossible to kill or shake from your tail. It was almost
terminator like in it's determinedness. In game interface was
confusing, I had no idea in which direction I was going to be attacked.
No real sense of tension.

One of the more pleasant
surprises. Has a really nice retro feel to it. The separate recharging

strategy to what would otherwise be yet another space shooter. The
action could

Good entry, but when the ai is
far away its sometimes hard to spot, also when the ai runs out of fuel
the gameplay is not as good (it spends most of its time finding the

Another game based on the
Basilisk Engine. And again a new twist on the theme.
I liked the simple interface and the fact that the turret rotated
independently to the the rest of the tank.
There seemed to be some texture issues when bombs exploded. It needed a
better ingame atmosphere.
I also had the odd AV on startup, though the patch fixes this.
May require more infantry enemies to increase the intensity.

Same problem with crashes at

major gripe with the gameplay is that the AI enemy
can see you before you can see him, allowing him to get an important
